• She obtained her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico.
• She completed her residency in internal medicine at NewYork- Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and her fellowship in Rheumatology at MedStar Washington Hospital Center / Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C ..
• Since 2017 until recently, she served as an academic faculty member of the MedStar Washington Hospital Center / Georgetown University Medical Center rheumatology program and as Associate Director of the Rheumatology Training Program at that institution.
• Dr. Alejandro recently joined as a full time Rheumatologist at Mindful Rheumatix & Medical Research Group in Hato Rey
• Member of the FER Board since 2021
