Bachelor of Science and Pre-Medical at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus.  

Graduated Magna Cum Laude and continued her studies in Medicine at the Medical Sciences Campus of the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras.

Made her Residency in Internal Medicine at Emory University Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia, where she also obtained "Primary Care Fellowship" and Rheumathology Fellowship".

Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.

She has been Vice President and President of Fundación FER and of the Association of Rheumatologists of Puerto Rico (ARPR)

Secretary of the Fraternity of Medical Missionaries of PR, Inc..

Write articles related to rheumatic conditions for several PR newspapers.

Since 2000 he has private practice in the town of Aguada.

In April 2014 he was installed as a "fellow" of the American College of Physicians.
